How many FloodTape® rolls do I need to protect my home?
-
Answer: Good question; an average door or window requires about 10 feet of FloodTape® to be sealed off. A garage approximately 15 feet. One roll FloodTape® is 20 feet long. Assuming you have 3 exterior doors on the first floor and one widow exposed to the flood level plus one garage, approximately 3 rolls of the FloodTape® are needed. Keep in mind protection is needed only for the openings which are prone to flood and the FloodTape® needs to go up only as high as the max expected flood level; usually 3 feet up from the floor.
